Hello,
My name is Patty Thompson and I teach Pre-k and ESL at Central Elementary. This is my 15th year of teaching Pre-k, the last 12 here at Central Elementary. I taught Headstart/Pre-k for three years in Wells. I also have five years of experience as a teacher’s assistant in Pre-k here at Central. All together I have 20 years in Pre-k education. I am married and I have six grown children, a son-in-law, two wonderful grandson’s ages 3 and 1, and two very spoiled puppies!
My mission is to help instill a love for learning in the young children that I teach. I want them to enjoy learning new things and to be successful participants in our classroom community. We are going to learn through lots of hands-on activities, reading lots of stories, and exploring the things around us. I am looking forward to a wonderful year learning about, teaching and loving my students!
